Spring is definitely here! Glacier Point Road will be open for travel beginning April 28th. Enjoy awesome views of snow-capped peaks while they last!
Warmth is melting the snow into Tuolumne Meadows. The rivers are rising and waterfalls filling. High country lakes are still frozen. Trails are under layers of snow so for the next month flying will be the best way to see all of Yosemite.
The heavy rain and melting snow in the Sierra these last weeks are filling the watersheds in Yosemite, and there is no better time to see the waterfalls – from the air! Vernal Fall, Nevada Fall, Bridalveil Fall, and Yosemite Falls are all flowing high! Check out the Yosemite webcam for a current view (https://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/conditions.htm)
Now is the best time to schedule that trip you’ve been dreaming of to tour Yosemite in a small plane guided by a professional pilot tour guide. Sign up for one of the open spots in our special Springtime Yosemite Flight Tours!
