OUR AERIAL TOUR OF YOSEMITE is truly a special experience;
we offer you a perspective on Yosemite National Park that is best described
as "awesome". From our aerial vantage point the vertical relief
of Yosemite and the sheer size of the mountains is captivating. We enter
Yosemite Park at the West boundary over the Merced River. Your pilot provides
a narrated tour of the natural history and points out the familiar landmarks
of Yosemite Valley; El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls, Glacier point, Yosemite,
Vernal, Nevada and Illilouette Falls, Half Dome and many other points not
so well known. Your tour continues up over Clouds Rest, Cathedral Peak
and on to Tuolumne Meadows then up the Lyell fork of the Tuolumne river
to its origin, Lyell Glacier. You'll look down the Sierra Eastside to Mono
Lake and Tioga Pass and then fly down the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne
river. Our tour leaves the park over Hetch Hetchy lake. We recommend you
bring your camera with extra film, as this tour is especially photogenic.
