COMPANY HISTORY Started in 1967, as a flight school
and charter flying service by Jack Courtney, our company's
tradition of dependable General Aviation services throughout
the Western United States continues. Under the present ownership
since 1984, we have expanded on a tradition offering thousands
of clients, a wide range of aviation services. From custom
pilot flight training programs, to honey moon escapes, to
fire detection and suppression missions with the government
forestry services, we always strive to live up to our motto:
"Big Enough to Deliver, Small Enough to Care."
OUR PILOTS Our multi thousand
hour pilots have been selected both for; their mature decision
making and judgement abilities, and their seasoned piloting
skills. They maintain their certification with frequent recurrent
training by our company, and through regular flight tests
with Federal Aviation Administration inspectors. Each of our
pilots have several thousand flying hours in mountainous terrain
making them well qualified for flying in the Western USA.
OUR AIRCRAFT
We have chosen the aircraft we fly for 3 reasons; they are
well suited to the mountains because of their performance
margins, they have very good safety records, and they have
high wings which provide an unobstructed view of the scenery
below. We are pleased to currently provide: a Cessna 182 Skylane
which accommodates 3 passengers and their luggage, and a Cessna
Turbo 337 Skymaster, seating 5 passengers and equipped with
a STOL (short takeoff and landing) system enabling operations
out of short unimproved airports when needed. Our twin engine
4-7 passenger aircraft are equipped with cabin heaters for
those chilly days and individual air vents to let you breath
in the fresh mountain air. We also have an on board music
system with headsets and a voice activated intercom allowing
easy communications between passengers.
